Science Visualisation and Engaging Display Technologies.

Abstract

Paul will present a number of novel display technologies that can be used to enhance science visualisation both for researchers and for science education. This will include printing of synthetic holograms, creating solid models using 3D printing, and more fully engaging our visual system by using hemispherical and stereoscopic projection. Examples of all these techniques will be available on the night based upon actual visualisation projects Paul is working on with researchers at the University of Western Australia.
