3D Reconstruction of Heritage Objects from Photographs

Professor Bourke will present the relatively new capability of creating 3D digital assets of heritage objects simply by taking a number of photographs of the object. This is an exciting and powerful new capability for the capture and digital storage/representation of heritage objects. Numerous examples will be presented from a range of application areas along with an examination of the current state of the art.
