The following images are captured using a Rodenstock Heligon lens, specifically the TV-Heligon 1:1.25 f 64mm and the TV-Heligon 1:1.25 f 75mm. While the Rodenstock company predominantly made lenses for X-ray machines, strictly speaking the TV series used here were for television and other projection based applications. Camera

This is the ultimate manual lens rig. The gap determines the zoom, sliding the whole rig towards and away from the subject is how you focus. Two of those flowers were less than 1cm wide, filling the sensor sees the lens about 400mm away. |
