Wind and sound
Why, when you shout against the wind, is it harder to make yourself heard
compared to shouting with the wind?
The speed of sound in air is around 330m/s while a reasonably strong
wind might be only 10m/s, in other words the speed of wind
air is insignificant compared to the speed of sound.
