type: CCC
Ideal specular (mirror) reflection, using the Fresnel equations for reflectance from a dielectric. For such materials, the index of refraction is a real number, denoting that it does not conduct electricity. This lobe allows (non-physical) reflectance independent of the refraction index. The index used for reflectance will be deduced from the given specular reflectance, which is specified at normal incidence, but the index used for refraction is specified separately.
A typical glass would have a refractive index of 1.5, which corresponds to a normal reflectance of about 0.04.
To be used as part of an aggregate (smAgg) material.
